Ox Bow Art
  is here to introduce to you the fine art created by GARETH ANDREWS
 
Gareth Andrews was raised in Northern Minnesota, and was influenced by the artistic talents of his Father and Grandfather. He received formal training in art at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
 
 He spent a decade exploring Alaska and restoring historic works for the University of Alaska Museum, Fairbanks. Commissioned by "Minnesota Percent for Art in Public Places", he created a bronze sculpture "Legacy of Learners" for Hibbing Community College, Hibbing, MN.  His 15' high, fabricated steel sculpture, "The Sawyer", stands in Rotary Park, Virginia, MN.  Gareth Andrews has been a guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and at numerous elementary and secondary schools.  In 1999 he received a Virginia Foundation Community Award.  Gareth Andrews' award winning artwork has been shown in galleries and shows from coast to coast. Currently Gareth Andrews resides on the Iron Range of Minnesota with his wife and children. Over the years he has received several commissions for public and private sculptures.
